Remsbridge President Rory Smith presents with Northbridge Technology Alliance at the Association of Computing Machinery Chicago Chapter program on “The Evolution of Open Source and Social Activism” at Loyola Law School Chicago on March 11, 2015.
Mr. Smith discussed the role of open source technology in support of social justice work of the Antiracism Commission of the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago. Mr. Smith is a member and former co-chair of the Antiracism Commission.
Mr. Smith worked with Northbridge, Inc., on a beta test of open source software designed to support of the work of social justice organizations such as the antiracism focus of the Commission and trained Commission members on the use of the web conferencing communication technology.
